The Certified Financial Fiduciary® (CFF) designation reflects a commitment to a holistic approach grounded in integrity. It assures clients that they are represented by a professional who acts in good faith, with care and loyalty.
The designation is reserved for financial professionals who have successfully completed a rigorous certification and training process established by the National Association of Certified Financial Fiduciaries® (NACFF), who agree to uphold the NACFF code of conduct, and who comply with all certification requirements when providing advice to potential or existing clients.
As a CFF, one must agree to uphold the highest moral, ethical, and fiduciary standards of service when providing advice to potential or existing clients. The CFF Code of Conduct emphasizes three paramount duties:
- Good Faith – Treat all clients fairly
- Care – Exercise the skill of an expert and only advise in areas where expert skill level has been obtained
- Loyalty – Always put the client’s best interest first
