About Us

Springhill Home Health and Hospice is a privately owned free standing agency which provides services in Mobile, Baldwin and Washington (home health) counties. We are located in Mobile at 10 Mobile Street.  While we are a home health-based facility, we do have in-patient contracts with local hospitals and long-term care facilities.  In addition, our services include Skilled Nursing, Home Health Aides, Medical Social Services, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy. Hospice services also include Volunteers, Spiritual Care Coordinator, Dietician and a Hospice Medical Director. Services may be covered by Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance, workers’ compensation, private pay, Seniors First, Tricare or Medicare Complete.

Our Statistics

Last year we were honored to serve 190 patients here at Springhill Home Health and Hospice.  Our seasoned nursing staff, with over 50 years combined experience in the fields of oncology, hospice, pain and symptom management, and medical surgical nursing, spent 10,859 days total admitting and providing care to those 190 patients and their families.

Our bereavement coordinator provided care to approximately 125 families in 2009.  Our 13-month bereavement care program includes phone calls, home visits, letters of encouragement, grief information, a memorial service and access to a grief support group.

We are proud to support and serve the Gulf Coast and with the help of our 5 volunteers who contributed close to 500 volunteer hours last year, we are making a difference in the lives of our patients, their famililes and our community.
