Transportation for Medical Reasons

COA volunteers provide transportation to out-of-county medical appointments. Wheelchair accessible van is available as needed. Call for more information. Hours are from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. to noon Saturday.

We can provide your wheelchair transportation needs for routine non-emergency medical appointments within Berrien and Van Buren Counties. Please call 24 hours in advance. For emergencies call 911. (hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday)

We provide non-emergency transportation services to all persons living in Berrien, Cass and Van Buren counties who are at least 60 years old and/or physically disabled/Medicaid eligible.

We provide volunteer opportunities for seniors at various senior centers in our area. Hours are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

We provide same-day demand-response service within the cities of Benton Harbor, St. Joseph and parts of Benton Township. We also provide service to Lake Michigan College and medical centers in Royalton Township. Passengers should call one hour in advance. The wait time will vary depending on demand.
