Respite Care

We offer housekeeping, errands, transportation, personal hygiene and bathing, meal preparation, and companionship. Our employees go through a rigorous screening process with criminal background checks. Serving Allegan, Berrien, Cass, Kent, Ottawa, Muskegon and Van Buren counties in Michigan. Hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, with 24 hour on-call availability.

We offer help with housekeeping, bathing, meal preparation, transferring, laundry, companionship, personal care, errands and medication reminders. All workers are screened, trained, tested, insured and bonded. 24 hour live on call supoort. Staff is available 24 hours a day.

The National Respite Locator Service is a division of the Chapel Hill Training-Outreach Project. It allows you to search by state, age of care receiver and any pertinent conditions (e.g., Alzheimer's, Stroke, AIDS/HIV...). This is not an exhaustive list, but it can get you started on resources.

Our short term program provides flexibility for caregivers. You can try our community on a trial basis or maybe the caregiver needs to travel or there is a need for some extra personal care following surgery or an illness. Hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, with 24 hour on-call availability.

We provide comfort, compassion and care in a private home setting with two personalized private rooms and two semi-private. Home cooked meals to fit restricted diets. We have an ADT security system, whirlpool tub and activities based on age level and abilities.

COA volunteers provide transportation to out-of-county medical appointments. Wheelchair accessible van is available as needed. Call for more information. Hours are from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. to noon Saturday.

We offer physical, occupational, and speech therapy services provided by Generation Rehab. This team has experience with post stroke, hip or knee replacement, fracture, cardiac rehabilitations, and strengthening from an illness.

We can provide 24-hour care on a temporary basis. We offer medication administration, housekeeping, three meals a day and snacks. Emergency call systems are located in all rooms and bathrooms. We offer basic satellite TV and like enrichment activities. Available 24 hours on-call.

We have RN, LPN, home health aides, skilled intermittent care, and all levels of in-home private duty nursing, including ventilator dependent children and adults. Free in-home consultation. Hours are from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday, with 24 hour on-call availability.

Supporting our Hospice Clients, and their families, are a priority. From companionship, to bathing, light housework to full personal care. Hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, with 24 hour on-call availability.

Our caregivers provide non-medical companionship and assistance services wherever you call home. All caregivers are carefully screened, tested, trained, insured and bonded.

Care includes: bathing, dressing, grooming, medication administration, meals, planned activities, social events, and more. We accept individuals with various states of dementia, those who require more intensive supervision and assistance. We offer short and long term stays. Hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
