Medical Equipment

We are a privately-owned, community-based home medical equipment supplier. We offer a full line of rental and purchase equipment including hospital beds, wheelchairs, powercarts, power lift chairs, oxygen concentrators, and the new Invacare home-fill oxygen system. Helios liquid oxygen system and our respiratory unit-dose pharmacy for Medicare recipients. Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, with 24 hour on call availability.

Lending Hands loans out various kinds of home medical equipment for free and on a temporary basis, for up to 9 months, to anyone living in Southwest Michigan. We are an all-volunteer 501-c-3 social service organization. Following is a listing of home medical equipment loaned out by Lending Hands. Our equipment inventory includes, bath benches, bath tub rails, bed rails, canes, commodes, crutches, dressing sticks, hi-rise toilet seats, hospital beds, hospital bed tables, leg lifters, reachers, shoe horns, shower stools, sock-aides, transport chairs, walkers and wheelchairs. Please call in advance for availability of equipment. We do not do pickup and delivery. We do not deal with scooters, lift chairs or electric wheelchairs. We are open M-W-F 9am to 3pm and Sat. 9am to Noon.

We offer free home delivery and set-up oxygen, respiratory equipment, hospital beds, and related needs including wheelchairs, walkers, bathroom safety products and crutches. We have supplies for your diabetic, ostomy, nutritional and wound care needs. Respiratory therapists are on call.

The partnership with Van's Medical Equipment offers you the convenience of receiving the equipment you need before you are discharged. Our staff will deliver and set up your equipment, provide you with education on its use, and be there to answer any questions when you call.Many of Van's Medical Equipment of Lakeland services are covered by insurance. We will be happy to contact the patient’s insurance company to determine coverage and bill them directly.
