Our services are available throughout the Puget Sound area and in 16 Western Washington counties, but anyone is welcome to call the lifeline 24 hours a day for support.”

Providence Cancer Center, a partnership of Holy Family Hospital and Sacred Heart Medical Center, offers some of the best, most comprehensive cancer services in the Inland Northwest. It is the only cancer center in Eastern Washington with state-of-the-art services from prevention and screening to the end of treatment and recovery.

Cancer Support Groups meet at Holy Family Hospital Health Education Center in Room 6 on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Tuesdays of the month from 5:30-7:00pm. Contact Beryl Anderson, RN, Med, OCN.

Air Care Alliance

National association of pilots that provide free air transportation of patients and a family member for medical services too far away to drive. Service typically reserved for those with a medical need.

American Cancer Society (national office)

Provides educational articles and information to help you locate clinical research trials, or events and resources in your area. There are interactive tools to help you make treatment decisions, and links to cancer survivor support groups and information. This site provides educational materials in Spanish and several Asian languages.

CancerCare Copayment Assistance Foundation

This non-profit affiliate of CancerCare was founded in 2007 to address the needs of cancer patients who are having financial difficulty affording their insurance copayments for cancer medications.

Mesothelioma Center (Asbestos Cancer)

Mesothelioma is a form of lung cancer due to exposure to asbestos. Construction workers, shipyard workers and persons in the military have particularly high risks of asbestos cancer. This site provides a directory of specialists in the field, clinical trials, and access to financial assistance for veterans who may have been exposed to asbestos during their military service.

Online Cancer Support Groups

The Association of Cancer Online Resources provides support, information, and community to patients, family caregivers and professional health providers. There are over 130 online lists to choose from, including groups on specific diagnoses, alternative therapies, depression, fatigue, financial concerns... Online support groups offer the flexibility of 24 hour, 7 day a week access. Some people report that the anonymity of an online community is actually helpful in sharing feelings and concerns.
