Love In The Name of Christ (Love INC)
A cooperative benevolence ministry of Santa Clara County churches. Volunteers are available to help clients with needs such as: rides to doctor's appointments (up to 8 days notice), occasional grocery shopping, yard clean-up, minor home repairs, friendly visitors, etc. All services are free.

Mobile Home Repair Program: Provides eligible mobile home owners of Morgan Hill with a maximum of $5,000 grant for minor health and safety repairs. Senior Housing Repair Program: Grants for income eligible seniors ages 60+ for minor home repairs. Housing Rehabilitation Loan Program: Provides income eligible residents with low interest loans for home repairs to their owner-occupies homes or rental homes (tenants must be income eligible) located within the City limits or its sphere of influence.

Medical Baseline: Customers who need extra energy to operate a life-support machine or for heating or cooling may be eligible for extra baseline quantities of energy. Baseline quantities are the lowest gas and electric rates. Another important program is the Energy Partners Program which provides income qualified customers free weatherization measures and energy-efficient appliances to reduce gas and electric uage. Rebuilding Together Silicon Valley

Sponsored by the National Resource Center on Supportive Housing and Home Modification (a project of the University of Southern California), this website maintains a state-by-state directory of governmental home repair programs and individual contractors who have registered as specializing in home modifications for the elderly and disabled.
Weatherization Assistance Program
Sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy, the Weatherization Assistance Program enables low-income families to permanently reduce their energy bills by making their homes more energy efficient. On average, weatherization reduces heating bills by 31% and overall energy bills by $358 per year at current prices. If you receive Supplemental Security Income or Aid to Families with Dependent Children, you are automatically eligible to receive weatherization services.
