Since no patient is denied care for inability to pay, donations, contributions and fundraisers are vitally important to Saint Barnabas Hospice and Palliative Care Center's and ability to meet the needs of our patients and families. Payments received from Medicare and Medicaid hospice benefits often do not cover all costs. Donations are needed to provide care for those who are under insured and are not insured at all. It is the thoughtfulness and generosity of supporters that allow us to continue our special kind of caring.

In addition to outright cash, gifts of securities, real estate, gifts-in-kind, and planned gifts are appreciated. These contributions may also result in tax savings that go beyond the traditional straight tax deduction for outright giving. Gifts may be made in memory of a loved one or friend or to commemorate a special occasion.
