About Us: Hospice Alliance
Hospice Alliance provides comfort and compassionate care when it is needed most. Hospice does not offer the possibility of cure or recovery, but seeks to provide support and hope during the challenging journey.
Individuals and their families have a choice in their preferred hospice provider--most who select Hospice Alliance do so because of our long-standing reputation for local commitment and excellence.
Care is provided in whatever setting the patient calls home:
- In the patient’s home, surrounded by the people and things they love. This choice allows family and friends to support their loved one in comfort and privacy.
- In long term care and assisted living facilities, such as nursing homes, senior apartments and group homes. Hospice Alliance professionals complement the care already provided by staff in these settings.
- The Hospice Alliance Hospice House offers an option for those who, for whatever reason, cannot remain in their own home.
Pre-hospice care may be the right choice for someone who is not ready for the hospice program. Specific criteria is required for this service.
Hospice Alliance Hospice House
The Hospice Alliance Hospice House provides a place of comfort and care for patients who meet hospice criteria. Our Hospice House opened in the Fall of 2003 and it remains the only one of its type in this area.
Life situations and circumstances do not always permit one to remain in their own home as they face the end of life. Hospice House provides care in a homelike setting by a team of professional caregivers twenty-four hours per day.
Hospice Alliance Team
The Hospice Alliance team is made up of skilled professionals who are dedicated and caring. Our care is directed by the needs of the individual, not the disease. Our history
Hospice Alliance has been committed to caring for and supporting individuals facing the end of their lives, as well as their families, since 1981. Our mission is to help people live each day with dignity, comfort and hope.
Hospice Alliance was founded by a group of dedicated citizens who saw the need for quality end of life care. We are a non-profit, stand-alone hospice, not affiliated with a medical system. Hospice Alliance is truly owned by the communities we serve: Kenosha, Racine and eastern Walworth counties.
